Today’s young students will almost certainly see 2100.  Join with your YBG friends and Maggie Favretti, YC ’85 and award-winning City 2.0 teacher, to envision and plan out a program to combine the creative energies of 16-22 year-olds and design practitioners to create more equitable, resilient cities.

We’ll meet up at Steelcase, on February 27, 2017, 6:30-8:30 and envision a program that could motivate real, positive change.  Our hosts will spend a few minutes explaining why they stay connected to education in their design process.  And then we’ll gather information about what’s in it for us and what’s in it for the students, and brainstorm pathways and processes to tap into the deep reservoir of future thinking, creativity “out there” among young adults.  Bring your laptops.  Our goal is to create a program prototype by the end of the night.  Are you ready to make a YBG impact?

Please reserve a spot by registering for the event. The event will be held at the Steelcase NYC Showroom located at 4 Columbus Circle. The showroom is located at the corner of 58th and 8th Ave and the entrance faces 8th Ave next to the Duane Reade Pharmacy.
