Join YBG-DC for a tour of the gardens at Dumbarton Oaks in Georgetown, followed by a happy hour at SLATE Wine Bar + Bistro featuring organic and sustainable wines.
You can join us for one or both events, but please RSVP because space is limited.

We will meet at 3:15pm for a 3:30pm tour of Dumbarton Oaks.  The tour will last for 60-90 minutes and the cost is $10.  We’ll be outside for the tour, so plan to bring appropriate shoes and cool clothes.  Please note that the gardens have stairs, loose gravel, and other features that may present obstacles to those with impaired mobility.

Further information about Dumbarton Oaks, including directions and parking, is available here.  Please note that the gardens are open, but the museum is closed for renovation through the end of the year.

After the tour, we’ll move to SLATE Wine Bar + Bistro, which is about a mile up Wisconsin in Glover Park, for a happy hour at 5:30pm.  The bar will be pouring sustainable wines for happy hour.
