YBG is nonpartisan and does not endorse candidates. Our goal is to help members find reliable information about candidates’ environmental records and positions, understand environmental issues relevant to their communities, and ask informed questions about what candidates would do if elected.

A voting record tells you what someone has done. It doesn’t necessarily tell you what environmental challenges they may face in the office they are seeking.
YBG has developed a series of concise, Environmental Briefs covering important environmental, energy, infrastructure and sustainability issues.
YBG has created a candidate and environmental issues resource to help members research candidates, understand environmental issues relevant to their communities, and engage candidates with informed questions.
For races in the YBG candidate database, we identify environmental issues that are particularly relevant to the responsibilities of the office and the jurisdiction it serves.
