YBG-London

Yale Blue Green started its first international branch in London in 2018. We coordinate closely with the Yale Club of London to serve as a hub for alumni in the UK working in or passionate about climate and sustainability.

We have organized networking events among Yale alumni, as well as with those of other universities, including Harvard, Columbia, Oxford, and Cambridge. We continue to grow our membership and activities, aiming to create more connections over educational, service, or outdoor events, and more.

We would love to hear from you and your suggestions about the YBG London Chapter, and welcome all who are interested in helping lead an activity with our support.

Please email the co-chairs to express your interest and to receive notifications about events.

Yale for Humanity Illuminated spring 2025 discussion of FLUXNET

YBG-London participated in the Yale for Humanity Illuminated spring 2025 discussion of FLUXNET, an international “network of networks,” tying together regional networks of earth system scientists. FLUXNET scientists measure the cycling of carbon, water, and energy between the biosphere and atmosphere. Scientists use these data to better understand ecosystem functioning, trace gas dynamics, and air pollution.
