Chapter Organization

Yale Blue Green currently has chapters in NYC, Boston, Chicago, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and London.

Local chapters are an opportunity for alums living in major cities – or other geographic areas with significant alumni populations – to connect with fellow alums in their area, build community, participate in social activities and service projects, and engage with environmental and sustainability issues that are unique to their area.

Our goal is to coordinate and support the work of the chapters, and to launch new chapter in cities (in the U.S. and overseas) that have a significant population of Yalies who connect with YBG’s mission. We can provide all the tools and support you need to start a chapter in your city/state.  Generally, we suggest having 2-4 co-chairs per chapter to share chapter responsibilities.  We can put you in touch with other alums who have expressed interest in creating a chapter in your area.

Please email YBG leadership at yalebluegreen@gmail.com with any questions about the work of the chapters, to volunteer to help lead one of the existing chapters, and to get started in establishing a new chapter for YBG.
